Sneak Peek on Homie

Been super duper busy with BeaniPet and running all over the place just to settle the house.
Finally it's done and after few weeks and tons of cleaning :) I'm very happy with the result!

Here's some sneak peek on my new homie:
My 10 feet tall wardrobe :)
I Love the finishing and the colour is so relaxing :)

My studio colour for 1 wall, peachy pink :)

And some stools which I love! Use to sit this 2 sizes when painting :)
I bought loads of white furniture :) I just love it! Can't help it :)

A very cool fan :) Took this picture after cleaning the room and fan :)

I was at the house for almost 2 solid weeks cleaning, scrubbing and sweating.
Then it rained! My 1st rain in my new home :)

And on 30th last month, we moved in!
And this is the 1st meal that I cooked in our new house:

And it is the 1st of January! super delicious meal and bear was super duper happy!

And this is my studio:

Lovely, bright and cooling. Love the feeling of living on top of a mini hill :)
I'll have more pictures coming up after I'm done DIY-decoing for my new homie!
For now it'll be all BeaniPet and Valentine Pillows :)

Chandelier & Laundry DIY

I've decided the my dining area will have this DIY Chandelier :)
I'm going with white wires to make them look like invisible strings
because my ceiling will be in white :)

I've been going to all those home expo and been keeping myself busy with both BeaniPet and the home. Hopefully everything will work out and although loads of ideas had to be scraped out from my initial plan, I'll still do my best to make my home homie :)

Fabrics for homie

These are my new fabrics for our home!

I'll be making pillow case & curtain pelmets with it :)

Victorian Inspired Home

My recent works are also inspired by Victorian styles and I realize I really do love it!

There I was just thinking of my balcony what other plants should I plant.
Then I saw these little white flowers. It's perfect for my balcony!
Starring at them just calms me down...

Little DIY details around the house:

I love the idea of loads of white match with beautiful flowers and plants.
I love how green stands out when the background is white.

A little crochet lace here and there for decorations... Love it so much!

Soft and cozy. Perfect for a bedtime fairy tale ~ dream away.

Balcony

I wonder will this hanging chair be suitable...

When I sit on these hanging chairs it's like I reminded of the white sandy beach.

I'm not sure should I just have hanging chairs so that
I may hang out there and laze there or I should have table and chairs.

But I definitely love the image below:

I love the idea of having a light dinner or even lunch at my balcony
(I'll need to get a standing air-con with Malaysian's weather)
Or Lazy short chairs... Look how comfortable the cute doggie looks:)

But I've got to make sure to get woods or rattans that can stand our tropical weather.

Modern Country

My idea and theme for my homie is modern country style.
With loads of wood and fabric pillows and a touch of leather
(since bear only like to sit on leather :)

Not sure will our budget allow us to create what we initially want to create.
Still waiting to get our keys~ It's gonna be soon, so very excited!

Nooks

I can practically draft out my home design after
1 whole night of discussion with bear.

Bed nooks, dining table nooks, living room nooks.
Nooks all over :)

My bed room nook will definitely be my reading space

I’ve always loved interior especially the designing part.
In my first year at college, I wanted to either take up interior or illustration.
In the end I choose illustration, with no regrets :)
I believe art and design is a sense.
Designing my home will be like composing a masterpiece.
Just in this case, it’s a 3D masterpiece.

Mini Garden

1st stop~ I would love to have a mini garden at all 3 balcony :)
I love to be surrounded by greenery and
that is one of the reasons why I chose my house location :)
